MND SUPPORT GROUPS
August Dates
MND Association Support Groups which are due to take place in the East Midlands in the coming month. We would encourage anybody attending a face to face support group to take a lateral flow test before attending, just to be safe, and also try to have a mask to hand if you are able to wear one and required to do so by the venue (particularly applies if the meeting is taking place in a hospice or care home setting – these settings will be able to provide a mask if it is a pre-requisite of entering the building). If you need to use non-invasive ventilation (NIV) at a face to face support group please contact me using the details at the end of this communication, as we have specific expert guidance about this.
