Lincolnshire Domestic Abuse Partnership New Website
Help is now easier to find for local people thanks to the newly refreshed and updated Lincolnshire Domestic Abuse Partnership website www.domesticabuselincolnshire.com.
It’s aimed at adults, children and young people who are either being abused or are using abusive behaviour, to offer support and advice, and signpost them to services locally and nationally.
Comments and ideas from survivors in refuges across Lincolnshire assisted the website’s development to ensure the right information is available. They all felt that the inclusion of gaslighting and coercion and control was really important. One male survivor who was involved was pleased that myths are addressed in the website’s content.
Other information includes:
- How to help someone you know who is experiencing abuse
- Ensuring your internet search remains private to you
- Advice on domestic abuse issues for Lincolnshire businesses and how to support their workforces
Domestic abuse survivors who supported the website’s development all said they would have left their abusive situations sooner if they had been aware of all of the options.
Please use www.domesticabuselincolnshire.com to help anyone you know who may be affected.
