Surviving by Storytelling Workshops

Join Writing East Midlands and Lincolnshire Recovery College for the next series of FREE workshops, helping you to explore your MENTAL HEALTH through CREATIVE WRITING and POETRY.
Writer and Assistant Professor of Mental Health, Dr Mark Pearson from the University of Nottingham, and Dr Helen Foster, Research Associate from the University of Leicester will be on hand for 3 workshops from Thursday, 9th February 2023, to assist you to write about your thoughts, feelings, and experiences around your own mental health.

There will be space to talk, share, and connect, and discover new ways of expressing yourself creatively in a fun and friendly environment!
Whether you’re already writing, or whether you’re new to creative writing and poetry and would like to give it a go – all are welcome. Priority will be given to people living, studying and working in Lincoln, and there will be a total of 3 workshops run at Bishop Grosseteste University.
