EDAN Lincs Special Announcement
EDAN Lincs are excited to announce that following a successful tender process, we have been commissioned by Lincolnshire County Council (LCC) to deliver a new and exciting support service from April 2023. The service will be called Lincolnshire Domestic Abuse Specialist Service (LDASS) This new-look support service will offer improved assistance to Lincolnshire families experiencing domestic abuse, which will include: • online support and advice for all domestic abuse victims • a support hub and helpline, directing people to the most appropriate services • intervention services for both adults and children and young people • recovery support • an outreach and engagement team The support package also includes specialist assistance for adults experiencing domestic abuse, including stalking, controlling/coercive behaviour and honour-based violence. In addition, there’s advice for Professionals and for businesses on supporting staff affected by domestic abuse, and our specialist outreach engagement team will also be working to increase community awareness, meaning victims are less likely to go unrecognised.
