Can you help share a story of a person who has or who is trying to access social care in Lincolnshire?
HWLincs are carrying out a piece of work for Healthwatch England. They are wanting to speak to people who are, or who have tried to go through a social care assessment process for support.
The title of the work is ‘Putting a Face to an Unmet Need’, so they are looking to carry out a brief discussion with people who have experienced social care assessment in some way. This might be a carer or it might be the person in need themselves. They are looking for all experiences, including those who have found the process challenging for whatever reason, right through to those people who have found the assessment has provided them a personalised and fulfilling outcome.
The stories will be written up into case studies, and can be anonymised if the person wishes. This work is part of a national picture, and as always HWLincs want Lincolnshire to be part of this and have our voices and experiences heard with the aim of building a national and local sense of what it is like to be in need of social care services and go through the prescribed process.
Please share through your contacts and people you know. The details for HWLincs are here: https://hwlincs.co.uk/contactus/
