As a member, you can get involved as much or as little as you'd like. Our work is strongest when it's shaped by the experiences and priorities of our members, and member involvement helps give us a stronger voice. When members share their experiences, ideas and priorities, it helps ensure we're focused on the things that matter most.
This is often about simply starting conversations and working together, rather than simply asking members what we should do. The opportunities below are a chance to do more than just shape your views, they are ways for you to influence future activity and help us focus on the things that matter most.
If any of these interest you or you have anything to say, get in touch with us now via hello@lvet.org

Join a one-off discussion to set the events programme
As we start planning our 2027 member events programme, we'd like to hear what matters most to you. We want to know what keeps you awake at night as well as the things that you just wish you knew a bit more about. Help tell the story of the VCFSE ecosystem
Join a task and finish group to co-design the resource
We've secured funding to develop a new resource that will help members, NHS colleagues, councillors and wider partners better understand the role, strengths and impact of VCFSE organisations. Bringing together evidence, stories, examples of partnership working and contributions to priorities such as prevention, reducing inequalities and community resilience, it will provide a fresh and engaging picture of the VCFSE ecosystem.
We're looking for members to join a task and finish group to help shape the content and ensure it reflects what matters most. We'll be sharing more information and other opportunities to contribute over the coming weeks.

Emily would love your thoughts
Have a one-off discussion to help inform future priorities for LVET
Emily is currently undertaking a strategic review to explore how LVET can continue to evolve and respond to the changing needs of members and partners. She's keen to hear what's working well, where the opportunities are, and what members would like to see from LVET in the future.
If you'd be happy to share your perspective, please book a 30-minute teams call. Alternatively, feel free to send your thoughts by email. Your feedback will help shape future recommendations and priorities for LVET.
