We’re planning our LVET Member Meeting themes for the remainder of the year, and our October session will focus on supporting underserved communities.
Taking place on Tuesday 13 October, from 10am to 11.30am, the meeting will bring LVET members and partners together to share experiences, explore common challenges and learn from the approaches being used across Lincolnshire.
We know that organisations are working in many different ways to reach people and communities who may experience barriers to accessing support, services and opportunities. This session will create space to discuss what is working well, where challenges remain and what has helped organisations overcome them.
An open and collaborative conversation
This meeting will be a little different from our usual format. Rather than inviting keynote speakers or delivering formal presentations, we want the conversation to be shaped by the people attending.
Members and partners will be invited to contribute openly, share practical examples and reflect on questions such as:
- Which communities are currently underserved, and why?
- What barriers make it harder for people to access support?
- Which approaches have helped organisations build trust and engagement?
- What have you tried that has worked particularly well?
- Where could greater collaboration make a difference?
There is no expectation that anyone arrives with all the answers. The purpose of the session is to learn from one another, identify shared experiences and explore how organisations across the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector can strengthen their collective response.
Get involved
We would love to hear from members and partners who have experiences, ideas or examples they would be willing to share during the discussion.
To express an interest in contributing, or to find out more about the meeting, please contact hello@lvet.org.
Further information about the session and how to book will be shared soon.
