Managed Care Network (MCN) – Mental Health Promotion Fund
The Managed Care Network is an alliance of county-wide community groups and organisations delivering a variety of support activities, services and projects which provide people with structure and choice in their lives contributing to individuals’ emotional wellbeing within their own community.
The Mental Health Promotion Fund that underpins this network is a partnership which has historically been provided by Lincolnshire County Council and Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (LPFT). The management of the network has now been handed over from LPFT to Shine Lincolnshire, and we excited to announce the launch of Wave 11 funding.
The funding aims to support people to live independently in their own homes and communities with access to a range of activities and services that promotes outcomes such as reduced social isolation, a safe non-judgemental space to support recovery and promote good mental health. Projects shall generally contribute to improved health, wellbeing, independence and choice for people with a mental illness including serious mental illness. This involves working alongside people with lived experience & partner agencies to ensure equitable access to community support services across the County.
Activities can include peer to peer support, sporting and other outdoor activities, creative art sessions, learning different skills, developing coping strategies, meeting new people, and taking on challenges.
Applications will also be considered which support project continuation, along with those that are able to demonstrate future service/business sustainability.
The application period will open on Monday 19th July for 5 weeks. We are holding information sessions where we will share all the information groups & organsiations will need to make a successful application.
All sessions will be via MS Teams:
Tuesday 13th July: 9am-10am
Wednesday 14th July: 1pm-2pm
Thursday 15th July: 10am-11am
Friday 16th July: 3pm-4pm
Friday 23rd July: 9am-10am
Monday 2nd August: 10-11am
Monday 9th August: 3-4pm
