Project Coordinator
About the role
An important element in the Integrated Care Board’s Digital Inclusion Strategy is supporting people to make the most of digital access and tech enabled care. The Project Coordinator role will support existing, and new, digital champions to come together in a supportive network enabling new training, peer to peer support, and the sharing of tips and information. We’re looking for someone that’s great at bringing people together and coordinating the sharing of knowledge and expertise.
About the programme
The Digital Champions Programme aims to reduce digital exclusion in relation to health across Lincolnshire. It will support people to get online safely, build confidence using digital tools, and access essential services like the NHS App. The programme will do this by working through trusted community volunteers (Digital Community Champions) based in places such as community hubs, faith centres, foodbanks and local organisations.
Why are LVET hosting this role?
LVET are hosting this role because our members already work in local communities and support volunteers, and many already have Digital Champions. We are independent and can help connect organisations and people, share good practice, and support both new and experienced champions with training and guidance, creating a network where everyone can learn from each other and feel part of something biggger.
Do you have Digital Champions?
If you already have Digital Champions in your organisation, we’d love to hear from you so we can include them in the network.
