Social Prescribing Day – 14th March
Social Prescribing Day is an annual celebration of social prescribing, recognising Social Prescribing Link Workers, local community groups and regional and national organisations which support people’s health and wellbeing. This year Social Prescribing Day is on Thursday 14th March. On the day, a wide range of individuals and organisations will be sharing resources and hosting events relating to social prescribing.
Search for #SocialPrescribingDay on social media and you’ll see lots of interesting activities and resources.
There are a number of local activities taking place too. Check out your local GP surgery for more information.
