Ready for a bigger move?
One team. One muddy challenge. Nobody gets through it alone.
Having taken part in Tough Mudder over the last couple of years, LVET’s Emily Ward has seen first-hand what makes the event so special: the teamwork.
Across the course, groups work together to overcome obstacles, encourage one another through the difficult moments and celebrate reaching the finish line as a team. There may be plenty of mud—and it certainly lives up to the word “tough”—but the experience isn’t about racing or competing. It’s about people helping one another and achieving something together.
That sense of teamwork has inspired Emily to bring together our community team for next year’s event – we need a name though
We’re inviting people from LVET member organisations—as well as their colleagues, friends and family—to join us. You don’t need to be an athlete or have any previous experience, and there will be no pressure to race. Everyone can approach the challenge at their own pace, with different levels of fitness, confidence and experience welcomed.
Emily will be taking part and will be joined by Hanifa and Carol. Together, they’ll help bring this community together, share useful information and support everyone in the lead-up to the event. Participants will be responsible for purchasing their own event tickets and arranging their travel and any other personal requirements.

Our COMMUNITY team will be taking on the Tough Mudder 5K at Belvoir Castle, Grantham, on either 3 or 4 July 2027. The specific date will be confirmed with the team.
