The ICB have put together a presentation on The Neighbourhood Health Framework.
We wanted to share these slides with as it’s designed as a blueprint for accessing health and care as close to home as possible. Please click on the image below to access the slides.
They set out 5 aims of the neighbourhood health approach and 3 ‘reform agendas’.
You will see there remains a strong health provider focus in these slides and in the immediate, a pragmatic approach is being taken by the ICB to get the foundations of neighbourhood health in place.
We will continue to be a voice for VCFSE organisations in Lincolnshire in conversations with the ICB, providers, Local Authorities and Primary Care Networks around Neighbourhood Health and the key role of VCFSE organisations in supporting positive health, social care and wellbeing outcomes even where we sit outside of any commissioner/ provider relationship.
Please do share any thoughts you have with the LVET team (hello@lvet.org) about the implementation of Neighbourhood Health and the development of Neighbourhood Health Centres as well as how VCFSE organisations can help shape the planning and help deliver a more equitable health service in Lincolnshire.
