CALLING ALL NATIONAL CHARITIES:
Valuing the role of the charity sector in social care research
Join us online on 21st July 2022 from 10am-12.30pm to discuss how the research community can better support charities to engage in social care research and influence the research agenda.
Hosted by the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) Research Design Service West Midlands, Research Design Service North West and BVSC Research, this event will address barriers to the charity sector’s engagement in research, and how the sector can help drive evidence-based practice in social care.
This event will build on two earlier events that explored the experiences of local voluntary and community sector organisations working across the West Midlands and North West. We will share the important findings from these events to inform our discussions, helping us to understand the similarities and differences facing smaller voluntary sector organisations and larger charities.
