SOUTH KESTEVEN COMMUNITY GRANT SCHEME DEADLINE 20th JULY
The deadline for this round of the South Kesteven Community Grant Scheme is fast approaching. Applications need to be in by Wednesday 20th July 2022.
Projects that tackle loneliness, social/rural isolation, mental health and wellbeing are welcomed. The grant also support projects that deliver outdoor facilities, work to community buildings, enterprise projects, events and new organisations and social enterprises that support communities in the district.
Financial assistance offered by the Fund is available through three strands:
- Small grants – groups can apply for between £500 – £2,000
- Community events – groups can apply for between £500 – £5,000
- Community projects – groups can apply for between £500 – £5,000
Those applying through the small grants scheme can request up to 100% of project costs. Groups wishing to apply for assistance with a community event or project with a value in excess of £2, 000 can request up to 80% of the total costs (to a maximum of £5,000. The other 20% must be contributed from elsewhere, of which 10% can be from ‘in-kind’ volunteering or materials.
- *Please note – This fund does not support applications for ‘business as usual’ costs, revenue costs (salaries, project officer or other employee costs, rents, training etc). Sessional worker fees as requested as part of an Events application may be considered.
