LRSN Emotional Wellbeing Worker
We are looking for an energetic, flexible, and outgoing individual with experience of working with young people to deliver our exciting new project Fit for the Future. No two days are the same at LRSN, so if you are looking for fun and variety in your working day, and you are passionate about supporting young people you may be just the person we are looking for.
Employment Type: 20 hours per week (including occasional evening and weekend hours).
Contract Type: Permanent.
Location: Home based, with requirement to travel.

About LRSN:

LRSN has provided emotional and practical help to Lincolnshire’s agricultural and horticultural community for over 20 years. We are Lincolnshire’s listening ear, we understand and can relate to the problems faced by the agricultural and horticultural community in times of crisis, stress, and change. Our services are directed towards offering a hand of friendship and support without judgment, and an understanding that we all experience difficult times. About the Role:
We are looking for an individual with experience of supporting young people to take up the exciting and newly created post of Emotional Wellbeing Worker within the LRSN team. The Emotional Wellbeing Worker will engage young people and young adults aged between 16 and 35 years, from within the farming, horticultural communities, and allied industries in our new Fit for the Future project. This is an exciting new project which aims to improve the health and wellbeing of young people within farming and horticultural communities, and allied industries.
Experience and Skills:
This is a highly rewarding opportunity for an individuals with experience of working with young people and/or young adults to join our life-changing organisation.
Do you have:
- Experience of working with young people aged 16-35 years, and of delivering high quality services in a rural environment.
- Experience of delivering 1:1 support and working with young people/adults with emotional and well-being support needs.
- Excellent communication skills.
