Personalisation Huddle
The next Personalisation Huddle is 9.30-11am on Friday 20th January and the focus is ‘Shared Lives’.
Shared Lives is a service commissioned by Adult Social Care at Lincolnshire County Council, which provides a method of supported accommodation to people, allowing them to live in the community as part of a family and to retain as much independence as possible. It is a similar concept to the Fostering Service that is provided for children and young people, but is the equivalent for adults who are eligible for social care support. The aim of the service is to “match” people who require support with a Shared Lives Carer based on each of their individual strengths, interests and preferences.
