Lizzie Lamming from National Energy Action presented about their Warm Homes Healthy Futures and has asked that we share the below information and the flyer attached instead of her presentation slides, but you can watch the presentation back here.
Warm Homes Healthy Futures is a Nationally co-ordinated, locally delivered programme aimed at those working with clients/patients with health conditions.
Offering fully funded Energy awareness sessions/events to community groups with a health condition. The sessions/events will focus on Health, Priority service register and CO awareness.
The project aims to offer those in the community with a health condition,
- Energy advice and support.
- Benefit and income maximisation.
- Signposting to other support such as crisis support (fuel vouchers, winter warmth packs, etc.)
- Signposting to repair and/or replacement schemes for heating and appliances (where available)

The project is aimed at organisations, charities, local authorities, GP & Hospital teams, Health, or Social Care professionals who are assisting clients / patients with health conditions to maintain a healthy lifestyle and manage their health.
Flexible to local need, not duplicating, but looking to plug local gaps to enhance, expand and complement existing provision through Partnerships, as well as locally delivered energy awareness events/sessions.
