Telephone & Webchat Adviser (Lincoln)
Permanent – Full-time & Part-time – Working hours – Full-time advisor is 37.5 hours per week. Part time adviser is 25 hours per week.
Salary: £22,512 – £23,353 per annum dependent on experience

At Citizens Advice Lincoln & Lindsey we are recruiting exceptional customer service individuals (from all walks of life) to join our high performing teams and work towards supporting our clients from across the region and beyond.
What will you be doing?
With your professional telephone manner and excellent communication, you will be the front-line voice dealing with a wide range of different telephone calls. You’ll be taking inbound calls and webchats via digital platforms to interview clients to ensure the right advice is given. You will be part of a close team of advisers who will mentor you through the training process and beyond.
What do you need?
You don’t need to have worked in a contact centre before; you just need to have a willingness to learn, excellent communication and a strong desire to help our clients.
We are looking for candidates who; are able to use sensitive listening and questioning skills, have the ability to use telephony and IT systems, are able to work as part of a team, a willingness to give and receive feedback and have a commitment to continuous professional development. In addition, being adaptable, having up to date understanding of equality and diversity and a commitment to the aims and principles of the Citizens Advice service is essential.

Where will I work?
You will be based at our office in Lincoln. Training and mentoring will take place at our office.
What hours will I work?
Our phone lines operate Monday-Friday between 8 am-6 pm. Our advisers will work a 7.5-hour shift (plus half-hour lunch) working between these times.
